WHAT’S IN FOR BRIDAL 2019?
Cushnie

Although top bridal designers still go for classic styles such as ball gowns or 1950’s New Look silhouettes, some of them make fashion statements with proposals that vary from shapes to attitude and even colours! What all of them have in common is that the choice of the underwear to be worn in that special day has to be exquisite -not only for the night, girl, but also for the dress to feel even more unique.

Have you ever considered the idea of wearing trousers? Why not! Go for a wide leg option as many designers have shown in their collections, or even the cigarette silhouette if you feel more like it. Then many combinations are possible, but of course our favourite is the bra-as-a-top one, something similar to this Cushnie look.

Another popular style nowadays is that of the sexy bride: short length and deep neckline combo. Some options also include slits that show infinite legs, but maybe this is something for the riskiest ones! If you want to add a touch of sophistication to such a sultry look, try and get a short cape and, for the deep V-neck factor, do not forget a bralette as the triangle shape adjusts perfectly to the dress.

And last, but not least, the naked dress. Not that you are going to be Beyoncé at the MET Gala or Rihanna at the CFDA Awards, but some designers have shown their own (and more discreet) version of the trend, just showing some skin and letting the imagination flow. As some of the options we have seen go up to the waist, our advice is clear: go for high-waisted underwear as it will seem that the dress has it incorporated -also you won’t show any more skin than necessary.
