Swap event 26th November
Swap event 26th November
Lupe Castro, fashion expert, and Kim De Coster, sustainable connector, return this November 26th with another Clothes Swap to renew your wardrobe in a sustainable way!
Sustainability is the future of fashion and a clothes swap means new looks with no environmental impact. Renew your wardrobe and, at the same time, stay sustainable and fashionable without ‘swallowing’ the ‘fast fashion’ trends in this different event.
Why?
Worldwide, clothing utilisation – the average number of times a garment is worn before it ceases to be used – has decreased by 36% compared to 15 years ago, and these are the numbers for adults, imagine when talking about children’s clothing. In Spain alone, each year more than 300 billion Kg of used clothes are thrown into landfills. Swapping increases the life-span of clothing, supports the sharing community and motivates to buy less from Fast Fashion brands.
You know the old saying “one woman’s trash is another’s treasure”?
A clothes swap is the perfect way to swap treasures and update your wardrobe! It’s guilt free shopping with almost no cost to your wallet and great for the environment.
