Inauguration of the YSL vintage window at Moda Malola. A fantastic event! - MsLupeCastro - Lupe Castro

In the first part of this month, we inaugurated a space to showcase vintage YSL pieces from my collection, some of which I have for sale (you can check them out in my Etsy shop) and I'm so happy to finally have a pick up point for my pieces on my beloved island of Tenerife!

Moda Malola will be the boutique where you can pick up your vintage purchases made online. Moreover, every 3 weeks, we change the window display to show the richness of this universe that is YSL vintage.

The part of the collection on sale here are Yves Saint Laurent pieces from the '70s and for me, that era is great, as there was an excellent combination of music, fashion and art in the art world.

Yves Saint Laurent was one of the designers who did that kind of mix at that time. He started very young running the Dior house in Paris and I loved this whole history . When I started collecting the pieces were much more accessible

On Fashion Space's Instagram you can find, in Spanish, a short interview where I explain the characteristics of the YSL dress with which I inaugurated this first showcase, which is also for sale in my Etsy shop. A groundbreaking piece, with the classic YSL round neck and pockets, something very new at the time for evening wear.

I would also like to thank stylist Daniel Albericio for creating the window display with materials that will be used throughout fall-winter season as the pieces in the window change. As always, I wanted to put the sustainable side of me into practice in this way.
