In this interview with Elena Morales, during Gran Canaria Swim Week by Gran Canaria Moda Cálida, Elena spoke to me about some very interesting fixtures that she designed and made with recycled microplastics for the closure of her bikinis line.

In addition to all the fabrics for the collection being certified environmentally, one of them has a novel material made with recycled polymers, hydrogen, and hyaluronic acid meaning it dries in 6 minutes. Manufactured in Spain, means she also reduces the carbon footprint of the garment itself.

Her swimwear line can be found in various parts of Europe and, this season she added a new product, sunglasses, collaborating with MIKAS an italian company that is renown for its production and comes with the enviromental certification. They are a perfect complement to her swimwear range..
