Helen Kirkum's work is not just about making the most of waste materials, but also involves a whole transformation of them. In this interview I did with her a few weeks ago, we saw how by sewing those squares from other sneakers we created some fabulous basket, but what surprised me even more was the transformation into bags, decorated with strings on the sides in some models, but the highlight is the sewing of sneakers with recycled materials.
